DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 
Resort to the Lord and his power; always seek his presence. Psalm 105:4 

- God is always present, but sin can keep us away from his presence. For this reason, for God to make His home in our heart, it is necessary to make an effort to distance ourselves from sin. 

- The first step is accepting Christ as Savior. The next step is to grow spiritually. As we seek the Holy Spirit, we go through a process of sanctification, where we turn away from sin. 

- To seek the Holy Spirit is to resort to the power of God and His presence. The more we seek, the closer we become to God. 

--- Drawing on the power of God

- Strive in prayer. Dedicate some time of your day to pray and seek the presence of God. 

- Feed your soul with the Word of God. It strengthens our faith and gives direction.

- Seek to be in communion with the brothers in Christ. Where there are two - or more - in His name, Christ is present.

To Pray: Lord, Your presence is essential to my life. Take up residence in my heart and refrigerate my soul. Your presence makes a difference in my being! Amen.
